    911爆料网 School鈥檚 Expanded Functions Dental Assistant Program has been reviewed by the Pennsylvania State Board of Dentistry and the program meets the Board鈥檚 regulations for the training of EFDAs. Graduates of the Expanded Function Dental Assistant Program are eligible to take the Dental Assisting National Board鈥檚 (DANB) Radiation Health and Safety (RHS), and the Infection Control Examination (ICE) Examinations.

    The Dental Hygiene program is accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation and has been granted the accreditation status of accreditation with reporting requirements. The Commission is a specialized accrediting body recognized by the United States Department of Education.     INFECTIOUS DISEASES and BLOODBORNE

    911爆料网 School operates in compliance with OSHA鈥檚 Bloodborne Pathogens Standard (29CRF 1010.1030). This standard is the facilities policy to protect students and healthcare employees from occupationally acquired exposure to blood or other potentially infectious materials. Implementation of various methods of exposure control include universal precautions, engineering and work practice controls, personal protective clothing and equipment , housekeeping, vaccinations, training, and documentation. Students understand and assume the risk involved in the clinical portion of Allied Health programs at the Institute, especially the risk of contracting Hepatitis B through human blood spills, Tuberculosis, HIV (AIDS) and other related infectious diseases while participating in the required clinical experiences. All students enrolled in the Dental Hygiene Program must submit current health form before being allowed participation in clinical assignments, failure to provide written proof of immunizations/titers or a signed waiver, will result in withdrawal from the clinical course, and may result in program dismissal.

    The Fortis School of Nursing at 911爆料网 School Practical Nursing Education Program was granted initial approval by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing on June 6, 2018. 911爆料网 School is institutionally accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges.     The following programs may require licensure or certification to obtain employment. Please find your program of interest to determine if the program meets the educational requirements for licensure or certification in your state.

    The Dental Hygiene program meets the educational requirements to become a licensed Dental Hygienist聽in the states of Pennsylvania (PA), Delaware (DE), New Jersey (NJ) and Maryland (MD).聽

    Students graduating from the Dental Hygiene program are eligible to sit for the National Board Dental Hygiene Examination (NBDHE), the Juris Prudence written exam (Ethics), and a regional clinical examination.

    To be eligible for employment as a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) in Pennsylvania, a graduate must successfully pass all applicable exams, both written and clinical, and satisfy all state licensing requirements.聽聽

    The Practical Nursing program has been approved by and meets the educational requirements for becoming a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)聽in the states of Pennsylvania (PA), Delaware (DE), New Jersey (NJ) and Maryland (MD).

    Those who successfully graduate from the Practical Nursing program may be eligible to take the NCLEX-PN 庐. Approval to take the examination is not automatic. Successfully passing the NCLEX is one of several requirements for licensure.

    A commercial driver鈥檚 license is required for employment in the state of Pennsylvania.聽聽

    While there are currently no education requirements in the state of Pennsylvania to become a commercial truck driver, the Commercial Truck Driver Training program offers training that will provide students with advanced range and road skill development, and in-depth classroom material that will assist students in becoming a licensed commercial driver.聽

    Upon successful completion of the program, graduates will be awarded a PTDI Certificate of Attainment and will be prepared to test for a Class A Driver鈥檚 License. Licensure is not automatic. Applicants for licensure must pass a Department of Transportation (D.O.T) physical exam and drug screen in order to test. Criminal convictions may affect a student鈥檚 ability to be licensed. Requirements vary among states.聽

    A commercial driver鈥檚 license is required for employment in the state of Pennsylvania.聽聽

    While there are currently no education requirements in the state of Pennsylvania to become a commercial truck driver, the Class A CDL Preparatory program provides the skills and knowledge necessary to obtain a Class A commercial driver鈥檚 license. The graduate will have sufficient skills and knowledge to allow employment as an entry-level Tractor Trailer Driver or Straight Truck Driver.

    Upon successful completion of the program, graduates will be prepared to test for a Class A Driver鈥檚 License. Licensure is not automatic. Applicants for licensure must pass a Department of Transportation (D.O.T) physical exam and drug screen in order to test. Criminal convictions may affect a student鈥檚 ability to be licensed. Requirements vary among states.聽

    While there are currently no education requirements in the state of Pennsylvania to become a commercial truck driver, the Class B CDL Driver Training program provides students with skills necessary to obtain a Class B Commercial Driver鈥檚 license. The graduate would be capable of obtaining entry-level employment as a Class B (straight truck) driver.

    Upon successful completion of the program, graduates will be prepared to test for a Class B Driver鈥檚 License. Licensure is not automatic. Applicants for licensure must pass a Department of Transportation (D.O.T) physical exam and drug screen in order to test. Criminal convictions may affect a student鈥檚 ability to be licensed. Requirements vary among states.聽
